Dr Kenneth Tan Kian Wee

After graduating from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, Dr Tan trained in a wide range of specialty departments ranging from Orthopaedic Surgery, General Surgery and Obstetrics and Gynaecology, to Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Paediatric Emergency. His work experience in the Ministry of Health has helped him understand Singapore’s changing healthcare landscape. These experiences gave him valuable insights on a broad range of diseases and the challenges they pose.
Dr Tan believes that continuous learning is critical in the provision of high-quality medicine. He has Graduate Diplomas in Family Medicine (2018) and Sports Medicine (2019), as well as a Master of Medicine in Family Medicine (2019). He is also working towards a postgraduate diploma in clinical dermatology at Queen Mary University of London. This is testament to his commitment towards providing exceptional care to his patients with in-depth knowledge.
The vision of improved healthcare delivery led Dr Tan to join GP+ Co-operative, a network of healthcare professionals, as an active committee member. He volunteers as a clinical tutor for undergraduate and postgraduate training. Dr Tan is also working on several projects to empower patients in their medical care.
